Robust structure
All our canopies are designed in accordance with BS8118 Part 1 (Structural Use of Aluminium code). The aluminium is powdercoated for additional durability and corrosion-proofing. Our shatterproof polycarbonate sheeting offers excellent protection against vandalism and accidental damage with an impact resistance up to 200 times greater than glass. This characteristic is maintained over a broad temperature range and prolonged service life.
Low maintenance
Our canopies require no maintenance beyond the occasional cleaning down with soapy water, cleaning the gutters, and a brief visual inspection.
Choice of colour
Our canopies come in white (RAL 9010) as standard. We can also powdercoat the frame to any RAL colour of your choice. The polycarbonate sheeting is available in a Clear, Opal or Bronze tint.
Weather resistance
Our polycarbonate sheeting includes a high performance UV absorption layer which prevents damaging UV solar radiation from penetrating the sheet. UV protection means longer life, and the prevention of yellowing & loss of strength.
Fire resistance
The fire performance of our polycarbonate sheeting has been independently tested and certified up to Class 1 surface spread of flame when tested to BS476 Part 7. The sheets have low flammability and do not emit harmful gasses.
