Living Space is pleased to announce the opening of our NEW Polycarbonate Cutting Centre, based in a 6000 sq ft purpose built unit at our headquarters in Corby, Northamptonshire. This is the first new cutting centre to open in the UK in the last 5 years and our commitment is to provide the roofing industry with superior service levels and a dependable alternative to existing supply routes.
We now offer you a 'one stop shop' for all of your roofing needs with all of the convenience and savings in valuable time and money this brings. There is now an opportunity for Trade Counters, Conservatory Roof Fabricators, Installers and Builders Merchants to buy competitively priced polycarbonate sheet in conjunction with glazing bars and accessories direct from the manufacturer. This allows you to maintain healthy margins in this difficult trading climate.
Living Space now cut and supply polycarbonate sheets to the glazing, construction, agricultural and home markets. We offer a complete range of structured multiwall polycarbonates with sheet thicknesses ranging from 4mm to 35mm. These are available in a range of colours and special coating options. Living Space Customer Newsletter
Living Space has launched a new quarterly email bulletin full of the latest news and product updates on our range of conservatory roof systems, commercial canopies, domestic canopies, glazing bars and self supporting roofs. Our March 2011 Newsletter includes the following highlights:
- The recent re-launch of our domestic Homestyle Canopies & Carports range is proving to be quite a success with our trade customers throughout the UK. The new leaflet has also gone down well and many customers have ordered personalised copies of both the A4 and A5 versions. The new leaflet has coincided with a big increase in sales of our versatile " Homestyle Traditional Lean To Canopy " which is designed to the highest specifications and is ideal for many applications.
We are pleased to welcome aboard new stockist EAS Home Improvements, based in Leicester, who have been actively promoting the Homestyle Canopy range with the help of our marketing support.

Safety comes first with quality post protectors
British made for quality, our padded post protectors are the ideal, cost effective and impact resistant solution to covering exposed posts, columns or pillars that young children could bump into.
To complement our School Canopies, Living Space offers a range of foam filled vinyl post protectors which can greatly reduce the risk of injury, especially in nursery or primary school play areas or sports environments. Post protectors or safety pads can be used for various practical applications including: Basketball posts, Rugby posts, Netball posts, Canopy posts and Gym safety pads.

Three new domestic canopy products have been added to our existing range:
Pinnacle Pitched Roof Canopy
A freestanding Pitched Roof canopy providing maximum headroom. The solid polycarbonate roof sheets are supported on a structural aluminium frame.
Crescent Curved Roof Canopy
The soft flowing curves of the roof make the Crescent canopy a stylish and contemporary addition to any property. The large space within the freestanding canopy makes it suitable for many applications.
Walbrook Overdoor Canopy
A sleek, modern overdoor canopy that combines a painted aluminium frame with clear glazing. A choice of two sizes is available.

CHAS - The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme
CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. Living Space is a pre-qualified supplier to organisations including the public sectors (health trusts, emergency services and government departments) and large private companies looking for a suitably competent supplier that operates under legal and best practice required standards for health and safety.

BBA – British Board of Aggregate
The BBA Agrément Certificate is awarded to a product only after it has successfully passed a comprehensive assessment involving laboratory testing, on-site evaluations and inspections of production.
The BBA is the UK’s major authority offering approval of construction products, systems and installers following testing, factory and site inspections. They monitor product manufacture throughout the life of an Agrément Certificate, usually twice a year and more intensively at the end of each three-year period during the formal Review procedure. Living Space is currently undergoing the BBA evaluation and certification process.
